We are off to Feilding to visit the Rush Collection - A private collection of historic open wheeler race cars!

I have made contact with the Tim Rush who is the son of Terry Rush the gentleman who created the collection.
We are booked in for Sunday the 19th July at 11am and he will personally will give us the guided tour.
He has suggested allowing 1 to 2 hours to complete the tour.
As the tour will end around 1pm we thought we would find somewhere close for lunch before heading home.
On the advise of several locals we looking to book a Cafe' close by.
More information on this to follow once details are confirmed.

We request a $15.00 per person registration. (Covers the museum entry plus morning tea / Lunch is not included in this cost)
The schedule is as follows:
8:45 am Wellington based members - Meet at Wendy's car park at 46 Main Rd South, Paraparaumu.
9:00 am - Depart for Feilding via SH1.
10:45 am - Arrive at the Rush Collection, arrange / park cars for photo session.
11:00 am - Have Morning Tea and then commence guided tour of car collection.
1:00 pm - Leave for lunch location - "Murrays Irish Public House". Pick and Pay Lunch / Cash bar available.
3:00 pm - Group disperse and head for home.
